Why EURUS?
Carleton’s Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) offers both undergraduate and graduate students a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach to the study of Europe, Russia and Eurasia. Learn more about our Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts programs.

Until 1999, our program dealt exclusively with the study of the post-communist states of the former Soviet Union. Now, in view of the vast changes in the region, the Institute has built an expanded program that allows students to concentrate their studies on any part of Europe while gaining an understanding of broader developments in the region.
EURUS students are taught by a team of experts and experienced professionals from a vast range of disciplines, which include:
| History | Art History | Political Science |
| International Affairs | Business | Sociology |
| Russian | Economics | French |
| Law | Geography | German |
| Spanish | Philosophy |
With support from the European Commission, EURUS is providing students with even broader opportunities for the study of European integration.
