Summer Fest 09 Hummus Recipes
Employees who attended Summer Fest 09 were treated to free samples of hummus, courtesy of Aramark. This easy-to-make snack is great for dipping vegetables or pita bread, is high in fibre and an excellent source of protein. Use the Aramark hummus recipes found here to make your own batch — and reach for hummus as a healthy option when you get a mid-afternoon snack attack!
Aramark Hummus (makes two servings)
- 6 Tablespoons chick peas
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon tahini
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Put all ingredients in a blender, mix, chill, and serve.
Aramark Red Thai Hummus (makes two servings)
- 6 Tablespoons chick peas

- 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon red curry paste
