@ Hooley’s Pub
Policy: From Theory to Practice
6:00 p.m. – Registration
6:15 p.m. – Panel starts
So, a ministerial assistant, a political staffer, a Hill journalist, a lobbyist and a foreign policy analyst walk into a bar …. No, it’s not the start of a bad joke.
It’s a panel of recent Carleton University grads talking about how they put the public policy that they studied into daily practice (or in some cases, how they don’t.)
Join BJ ’95 Carleton grad – Alan Neal – host of CBC’s All In A Day – who will moderate this special version of Politics@The Pub jointly organized by the Carleton Initiative for Parliamentary and Diplomatic Engagement and the Canadian International Council.
Cost is $5 payable at the door for CIC members and $10 for non-members and, yes, that does buy you a beer or soft drink. Please register so we know you’re coming.
