The Carleton University Students Association, Rideau River Residence Association and The Student Experience Office are currently looking for student volunteers in a variety of roles to help welcome new students into the Carleton community through the Fall Orientation Program.  Fall Orientation is a one week program that occurs at the beginning of the fall semester for new students, focusing on their holistic integration into the Carleton Community through social, academic and cultural events.

Fall Orientation Volunteers will not only have the opportunity to get involved in student life on campus, but also meet a new and diverse group of people.

This volunteer experience is recognized by the Co-Curricular Record

Fall Orientation Alternative Training Session Information

Date: Tuesday April 10, 2012

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm (you can drop in anytime during this period) *lines should be shorter the earlier you arrive

Location: Student Experience Office (430 Tory Building)

What you need to bring: The Police Record Check Process will be facilitated during this drop in session.  Please visit the Ottawa Police website to see what identification will be accepted at: http://www.ottawapolice.ca/en/ServingOttawa/RecordsChecks/Records_check_FAQ/RecordsCheck_bring.aspx

Please note this is a drop-in session only to get your Police Record Check completed, you will be sent the information missed during the training session this past weekend via email after exams.  At that time it is our expectation you will review the slide deck and follow-up with any questions you may have.
