Raven’s Toy Chest | Open to All Students


The Student Experience Office, Carleton University’s Student Association (CUSA) & Rideau River Residence Association (RRRA) coordinate the largest orientation program at Carleton University.  Come join us for this year’s Fall Orientation theme – Ravens Toy Chest for the experience of a lifetime.  Join over 2,500 students and participate in the most exciting week of your life.  Registration includes:

  • Admission into the large outdoor concert featuring DOWN WITH WEBSTER+ special guests.
  • Admission into MTV’s The Buried Life event
  • Much Music’s Trevor Boris
  • Daily meals
  • An all season’s varsity pass to all Ravens sporting games – regular season (exclusive to this program) *valued at over $100
  • Your orientation kit and much much more!

Sprosh | Business Students


SPROSH Corporate Heroes is a dynamic mix of social and academic initiatives throughout the week. During this week you will get to know your classmates and peers, but also have the chance to meet your professors, create your own business plan to raise money for a local charity and get acquainted with academic expectations all before you hit the books! Activities include: aerial zip-lining, Sprosh Tour D’Ottawa, Much Music Dance party, Ravenspalooza, Academic Orientation, Closing Gala and much, much more!

Registration Cost: $100

Program: Targeted at Sprott School of Business students (Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of International Business students are strongly encouraged to register in this program )

EngFrosh | Engineering & Design Students


The CSES, in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering and Design, offers EngFrosh, an orientation program that focuses on, but is not exclusive to, students in engineering and design programs. Their theme for 2011 is Haunted EngFrosh. Some of their activities include white water rafting, EngGames, and boat building.

Registration Cost: Early Bird Registration $110
(space is limited – register early) *After August 26, 2011 ($120)
White Water Rafting – add $70

Program: Targeted at Faculty of Engineering and Design Students  (Faculty of Engineering and Design are strongly encouraged to register for Engfrosh space is limited)
