Here you will find information you need to get started and making a successful transition to Carleton University.  In the “getting started” section you’ll find the success tips fall into the themes of academic success, using your resources, and getting involved.  And the checklist will help you sort through all of the “must-do” items you’ll need to attend over the summer months and early in the fall.

 

Four steps to academic success:

  1. Read Carleton’s transition guide, Arrive.Survive.Thrive. (This will also be mailed to your in your Registration Package in late-May.)
  2. Attend our Summer Orientation program for a through introduction to university life.
  3. Before classes start, attend Fall Orientation to get even more information and meet other students
  4. Throughout the year, take advantage of the different support services available to you as a Carleton student.
