- Quicklink: Winter Teaching Event
There are several opportunities for teaching assistants to participate in large teaching, training and development (tTAd) events throughout the year. These university wide initiatives serve several purposes:
- They may serve as an orientation for new teaching assistants
- They provide opportunities for individuals from different units and disciplines to collaborate and learn from each other
- They cover a range of topics that teaching assistants can use to better educate and prepare themselves for their duties
tTAd events are traditionally half day or full day events consisting of multiple concurrent sessions on a variety of topics and they are designed to appeal to new teaching assistants (skills development sessions) and experienced teaching assistants (professional development sessions).
Session descriptions and registration can be found on Carleton Central (Please note that you are required to register for each individual session).
*Please note: You are welcome to attend the full day, or simply the sessions that appeal to you.
